This study proposes an effective treatment for atopic dermatitis using an ultra-adhesive hydrogel patch (DSS) that mimics the asymmetric structure of a beetle’s wing. The patch maximizes adhesion to the skin, ensuring deep and uniform drug delivery. The research demonstrates that this patch significantly alleviates symptoms of atopic dermatitis, such as skin inflammation and itching, compared to the conventional therapeutic drug, Maltol.
