[Suwon24] Suwon City Selects 3 Outstanding Companies for “Suwon.PANN 1st Cohort” Corporate IR Day

On the 7th, Suwon City held the “Suwon Corporate IR Day – Suwon.PANN 1st Cohort” at the City Hall’s central conference room, selecting three outstanding companies.

Suwon.PANN is a program designed to discover promising small, venture, and startup companies in Suwon, strengthen their IR (Investor Relations) capabilities, and provide opportunities for investment attraction.

The three companies selected as winners were: MIMETICS Co., Ltd. (Suwon Startup Support Center), which received the grand prize; Seonjin RCS Co., Ltd. (Kyunghee University Startup Incubation Center, Yeongtong-dong), which received the first prize; and WGS Co., Ltd. (Sungkyunkwan University Startup Incubation Center, Cheoncheon-dong), which received the excellence award.

The first cohort of Suwon.PANN included a total of 60 companies. After document screening, seven companies were selected and participated in a one-on-one mentoring program with professional accelerators, providing business model (BM) diagnostics, IR deck (business plan) enhancement, and pitching consulting starting from April 22.

On the day of the event, the seven companies presented their IR pitches, and representatives from investors, including the Suwon Corporate Saebit Fund management team, evaluated the companies based on business capability, feasibility, technology, market potential, and impact to select the three outstanding companies.

MIMETICS Co., Ltd. is a skincare patch manufacturing company, Seonjin RCS Co., Ltd. operates in construction climbing systems, and WGS Co., Ltd. develops process diagnostics solutions for semiconductor, secondary battery, and display manufacturing.

Investors plan to conduct additional private IR sessions and investment evaluations for the outstanding companies. Suwon City will continue to monitor the investment performance of participating companies and, if needed, match additional investors as part of a follow-up program to support business growth.

Mayor Lee Jae-jun stated, “Suwon City will expand the platform for corporate investment to help companies leap forward, and we will do our best to make Suwon an attractive destination for investment.”

IR refers to activities by which companies promote their value to investors in order to attract investment. “Suwon.PANN” stands for “Potential, Accelerate, Next, Navigate,” reflecting the program’s goal of awakening corporate potential and moving toward a new future.
