[Reporter Yoon Kyu-sang, Dongyang Ilbo] Korea National University of Transportation (President Yoon Seung-jo) has signed agreements with participating companies to carry out its 3rd-year industry–university joint technology development projects and continue the program. <Photo>
Through these agreements, the university’s LINC 3.0 Project Group will establish an integrated research platform to promote future-oriented industry–university collaboration and joint research systems, in preparation for the transition to the RISE framework.
The program also included lectures on technology commercialization and intellectual property consulting to enhance the creation of project outcomes.
Compared to the 2nd year, 28 projects were selected for the 3rd-year development initiatives—six more than last year—with a project budget of KRW 710 million, an increase of KRW 100 million.
These results are seen as a reflection of the collaborative efforts of the LINC 3.0 Project Group and its partners, demonstrating the shared creation of achievements across local government, industry, academia, and research institutions.
Participating companies include Taejeong Machinery Co., Ltd., Mobiltech Co., Ltd., SK E Co., Seohan Innovility Co., JinHwa R&T, Joeun ENG Co., Danong Bio Co., Upcycle Creative Technology Cooperative, Youngjin Engineering Co., GeoS Co., Giant Chemical Co., MIMETICS Co., DaHae Energy Co., Adelphia Lab Co., Environmental Acoustics Research Institute Co., and the Chungju Family Center.
Professor Gwang-bon Koo, head of the university’s LINC 3.0 Project Group, stated, “The 3rd-year development projects will proceed as planned through these agreements. We will focus on technology commercialization and intellectual property consulting to ensure that the project outcomes lead to tangible results.”
